J R R Tolkien George Allen & Unwin The dust wrapper is marked 11th impression, but the book is a 10th (this is as issued). This particular set has no tanning at all, as normally seen on most sets. Dust jackets are not price clipped. The slip case is fine, sturdy, and clean. These are original, as issued dust wrappers. There are some light tape residue markings to the endpapers and one small marking to the front dustjacket of the 2nd part as shown, but otherwise the jackets are some of the cleanest I have personally seen. There is light sun sparring to the spine of the 1st and 2nd volume, as shown. There is a previous owner's inscription to all 3 volumes, indicating that these books have never parted from one another. The boards, aside from a small manufacturer's burn on one volume are a very bright red and perfect. Please send me a message if you have any questions or require further pictures.
