Dust Jacket tattered.  Small losses, holes and tears, especially around top of spine and along flap folds.  Quite a bit of rubbing along folds, resulting in loss of surface.  Longest tears are along edge where spine and front cover meet, including a 1-1/4" tear at top and 1-1/8 tear at bottom.  Also a 1-1/4" tear along top of rear flap fold.  Spine tanned, both inside and outside of jacket.  Edges tanned.  Diagonal slash through front title area which has made a mark and visible impression in jacket, but no tears or significant color loss.  Original $5.95 price intact.

Covers are blue cloth with gilt titles on front and spine, clean and bright.  Diagonal slash across front (in same area as on jacket) feels raised rather than impressed, but there are no tears or breaks in cloth.  Corners very lightly bumped with rubbing to tips.  Each spine end has a tiny tear.

Pages excellent.  Remarkably clean throughout.  No writing, folds or tears.  Pages 60-65 show the indentation and residual rust from one or more paper clips.  Tight binding.

Map Near Fine.  Crisp and clean, no marks or tears.
