I attempted to collect all the Lord of the Rings deluxe editions printed on India paper from the initial first impression in 1969 up till the four HarperCollins volumes issued from 1997 to 2002.  Unfortunately, I've had a hard time finding a few of the impressions, but I think I made reasonably good attempt. 

I've decidied to sell some of what I've collected.  I've already sold a few locally, but there is not much interest so I'm trying my hand at selling online again.  My previous auction looks to be going well, so I'll be listing a few more.  With the unequal US/Gbp to Cad exchange, I definitely overpaid for my various edtions but I don't expect to recoup my original costs:  I'll be listing without any reserve! 

For this auction I'm selling an 8th Impression 1982 issue of the deluxe india paper edition:

- box is complete, no tears with just a little bit of staining/foxing inside

- original tissue paper included

- book looks unread; barely handled but there is the usually wrinkling of page edges common to these books on india paper; very prominent green speckled paper edges

- the glare when I took a picture of the front makes it look like there are white stains/wear - there is none

- both foldout maps are attached, but I haven't bothered to unfold them; you will have to take my word they are complete

- pictures are part of the description; please review everything and ask questions if you have any

- one of the better complete sets (box/book) in my collection and really nice to have in your hand and look at

The last two (2) pictures show what I have left and the new boxes I had to buy for shipping, just FYI.

PLEASE NOTE: Im only shipping to North America (Canada, United States) and the UK at this time.  Shipping is a flat rate of $55.

If actual shipping (when I go to the post office to mail) is less than what you paid, I'll refund anything over $1.  

If shipping is over what you paid, I'll absorb the costs and pay the difference.

The book will be insured for it's actual value.

Please be patient with regards to any possible refunds and shipping dates - I can ship within a couple business days of auction's end and sort out the costs.
