I attempted to collect all the Lord of the Rings deluxe editions printed on India paper from the initial first impression in 1969 up till the four HarperCollins volumes issued from 1997 to 2002, but I've decided to sell some of what I've collected. 

I'm taking a step back from my hobbies for a little bit and would like to lessen the amount of stuff I need to pack up and put into storage, so might as well list these again regardless of whether there is a postal strike or not.

For this listing I'm selling a 10th Impression 1985 issue of the deluxe india paper edition:

- lift off box is complete

- there is edge wear to the outer side of the box top

- there is a tear on the box top, upper left corner (picture shows the tear from the inside)

- on the right side of the box bottom there was an impact/ding and you can see how the edge is no longer straight; thankfully, this did not affect the book in any way

- book has been handled but looks unread; green speckled paper edges; small dot of a stain when you open the book (see picture)

- as is common with the india paper editions, the page edges can easily be folded/wrinkled if not handled carefully; if you enlarge the picture showing the page edges along the long side / underside, you'll see some lower corner pages have some bumps/folds which I've tried to straighten out

- both foldout maps are attached, but I haven't bothered to unfold them; you will have to take my word they are complete

- on the back of the book are some light scratches, like someone used a sharp object to randomly make lines or something; it's not significant in my opinion, but it is noticeable

- pictures are part of the description; please review everything and ask questions if you have any
