is a superb NEW & UNREAD Collector's copy of the DELUXE Edition of 'THE FALL OF NUMENOR' by J R R Tolkien, Edited by Brian Sibley and beautifully
illustrated throughout by Alan Lee.
This Deluxe Slipcased Edition was published by Harper Collins in 2022. This copy was signed by both Brian and Alan at a launch event at Blackwells in Oxford during November 2022.
This
is a First Edition, First Printing, UK
Hardback, SIGNED by both the Editor, Brian Sibley, and by the illustrator, Alan Lee, to the title page. It is housed in a sturdy matching custom slipcase.
This superb edition has the following features:

Drawing together J R R Tolkien texts from many published sources, including The Simarillion, Unfinished Tales, The Lord of the Rings and volumes of the History of Middle-earth, Brian Sibley has compiled a chronological narrative of the Second Age.
(2) This Edition contains ten brand new watercolour paintings and more than fifty pencil drawings, specially commissioned from award-winning artist, Alan Lee.

Exclusive to this edition is a newly coloured version of the Map of Numenor by Christopher Tolkien.
(4) Features as the front endpaper the full version of Alan Lee's painting, 'The Fall of Numenor'.

Book is tight and square. The text block is toning evenly with age and
is otherwise bright and clean. There is
no spine lean. All corners are sharp and intact. There is no pushing
or
bruising to the spine. The book and its case are bright and clean. There is no sunning or fading.
The case is free of any significant bumps, pushes, scratches or other marks.
The book in its case will be very well protected in bubble wrap and posted out with great care.
I
have collected quality signed first edition books for over 30 years
