Fabulous signed print of Tolkein's Rivendell by Rodney Mathews. Genuine very large framed signed print by Rodney Mathews depicting Rivendell, one of the home of the Elves, (The eleves Elrond and Arwen's home, where Aragon/Strider was raised) in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series. Rivendell is a pivotal location in the stories of LOTR, and features in stories connecting with the forming of the fellowship, Frodo's recovery, and Bilbo's later home.This is a fantastic interpretation with twisting organic turrets and pathways in a magical jewel coloured scene. (Sorry about the bright flash spot in most of the pics, these are just reflections from the glass).Beautifully framed in a large textured copper metallic finish frame and signed by the artist- "Best wishes Rodney Mathews 2003".
