I found out that in October of 1963 magazine Horn Book published on one whole page excerpts from Tolkien's ''On Fairy-Stories''. Same magazine also includes article by C.S. Lewis which mentions Tolkien and his essay several times. I didn't find much additional information about this so if anyone knows anything more about it let me know.
I just collected a copy of Horn Book 1963. on post which i ordered a week ago and there really is an article by Lewis and one whole page of Tolkien's ''On Fairy-stories'' :)!!! So seller wasn't making it up :)
I now have to see are these excerpts from 1947 version or not ( I was posting a question about two versions yesterday, i was preparing in advance :) ).
Anyway, very cool to find this because I didn't find mention of it anywhere. :)
''Since C. S. Lewis, in his article which follows, refers to Mr. Tolkien's essay, '' On Fairy-Stories'', as ''perhaps the most important contribution to the subject that anyone has yet made,''we quote from it here with the permission of Oxford University Press''
So it looks they quote from British 1947. version. :)
This text starts on the third line of page 66 in Tolkien's essay On Fairy-Stories in the book Essays presented to Charles Williams (Oxford University Press 1947).
