Excellent news. And for those of us who have stuck with the latest standard hardcovers there is also an edition which I assume will match those latest editions.
The deluxe is magnificent. The Ithilien painting by TN is one of my favorite among all his work. I'm so delighed to see it spread around the slipcase !
Wow. Okay, I really need to win that lottery because there are so many amazing books and/or editions coming out right now I do not even know where to stop.
And let's face it, Ted's art is on a scale of grandeur that really, really works with such an edition.
Very exciting! I would've been ok with just a reprint, but the fact that we are getting a revised edition AND more releases this summer/fall?! I'm pumped! Any guesses what else we may be getting this year? New regular and deluxe editions of CoH, B&L, FoG, perhaps?!
It will certainly be one of my 2022 acquisitions... I wonder if it has been updated with Silmarillion and UT material or if this has already been done before...
This is sooner than I expected. Looking forward to this. Glad they have experience with this format, so they are likely to do a reasonable job (though until the green isn’t proven to be dayglo…)
