I just noticed the inscription in The Hobbit.

Ahhh, the 'Queen of Hobbits'. A inscribed copy from Tolkien to Griffiths was for sale in 2008. Whoever bought that should bring these two together and donate them to the Bodeian. Without her we might not have ever seen The Hobbit.
