Abebooks just listed one without the dustjacket for £1500 minutes after the auction ended

I think the final sale price, would have been ok if the jacket was in better shape, but with the jacket the way it was, it was a tad high IMO

Wow. Didn't expect that to go as quickly as it did! Oxfam also had two out of the three out of the 1963 deluxe edition for £330 which went after a few hours.

The 1963 part set was me - I wanted the RoTK to complete my incomplete set. Of course I will now have a spare TT, so I can either start building a third set or see if I can sell the TT. Even if I don't manage to sell the spare, the whole set was sub-£500, which in today's market is good. I'm going to use my set with the original box as a template to make a really accurate high-quality facsimile slipcase for it.

Thanks to laurel for the heads-up about it being on the Oxfam site.
