The Lord of the Rings has come to Magic: The Gathering, and it's time to take familiar favourites on a whole new journey there and back again. In the upcoming set The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth™, you'll have the chance to join the Fellowship in adventures filled with valour, courage, and second breakfast. Play your favourite moments of the third age, or turn Middle-earth on its head and surrender to the temptation of the Precious. Either way; Middle-earth is in your hands.

Do I really want to get into MTG again? ? I used to play and collect those cards from 1994-99. I’ve thousands of them, but I’m just the the process of selling them. But now I’ve seen this ?
Ha. I know what you mean. I still have some Serra Angels Sengir Vampires and fireballs hanging around. I owned all the moxes at one time but my faves were the plague rats.
I was really into MGT in the late 90s and 00s but sold my collection in college (I wish I held on and sold in today’s market).
This interests me in both playing again and wondering if these will maintain or rise in value over the years.
It’s been almost two decades since I last bought MGT, and it appears there are different tiers of cards now (besides common/uncommon/rare).
I’ll have to read up on this, but it seems like an expensive path to go down.

).I have quite a few dual land cards from the Revised set and also one from the Unlimited times, so that’s ‘93/‘94. I’ll let you look Underground Sea up, but I think I’m due a nice first edition LotR set with the proceeds once I’ve sold them and others ??
