Looks like Harper Collins's website and Amazon have updated their listings with a mock-up of the design. Looks nice. Interesting that the stock photo was prepared to include the William Morrow logo.

Looks beautiful. I had anticipated standard hardbacks similar to Hammond and Scull's Companion and Guide. But it looks as if we are getting a deluxe presentation. Nice.

It may be a limitation of the render, but that looks like there is a booklet in there as well as the three books.

Yes it does - that cream slip at the front.

So nearly a third of the poems were composed during 1910-9 (or maybe the earlier poems have more variants), and the last poem was dated in 1967.

What are the odds that https://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/For_W.H.A. is the last poem in the collection?

This looks very beautiful. I love the mockup of a single panel with illustration, reminds me a lot of the old botony boxsets that would feature a diagram on the outer box. Can't wait for this publication.

Looks like it’ll sit quite well with The Lord of the Rings 70th Anniversary Edition

A short update from Wayne and Christina posted to their WEBSITE.

Our editor has sent us the latest mock-ups of the U.K. (HarperCollins) and U.S. (William Morrow) editions of Tolkien’s Collected Poems, differing only in the imprint. Click on each picture to enlarge. After a similar image was posted on another site, we read a comment which suggested that the creamy paper shown within the ‘notch’ of the box might be an inserted booklet; this is in fact simply the front board of the third volume. Each of the three volumes features on its cover a fanciful ‘tree’ drawn by Tolkien, one of which may be seen on the side of the box.

That is, if I understand well, each volume as a different fanciful tree (like each version of the tree of Amalion, maybe) ?
