It explains (I guess) why I have not received any shipping email/information yet (based in France).

No email so far, but I am keeping on eye out. Not at least because of the tricky situation with custums in Sweden and the EU. I hope that this edition required more careful and attentive handling and packing by HarperCollins. I will let you know when I get any updates.

This edition has a custom packaging box with spacers, so I think it will be fine. Folio did the same (albeit larger) with their LotR.

Nope. Might take a bit more time to reach Paris.

I have now gotten the email that it is on its way (got it around 22:00 CET) and a tracking number (it was in weak grey in the email so hard to see at first, not currently viewable at the DHL website). The estimated customs fee for me is going to be around the same as the shipping cost, I just hope I get notified fast.

Previously, shipping stuff from the UK might take anywhere from two days to two weeks, but it is being shipped with DHL so I am hoping for just a few days.

I am quite excited to open it up, look at it once and hide it away. 😅
