Advice On Hobbit Book

Hi all,
I have acquired what seems to be a 1937 second Impression 'The Hobbit' book. This was left to me from a deceased family member. I am unsure whether to keep the book or sell the book on at some point but a little confused at valuation.
The only thing is, it seems to have perhaps been rebound at some point or a rare edition? Due to it not being original boards. Also, the maps are missing. However, all colour plates intact and no damage to the pages throughout the book.
Does anyone have any guidance on this book and whether it's actually worth anything or not. I'm not sure how to value it as there are no similar comparisons.
