Books and other printed materials >> The Lord of the Rings: 70th Anniversary Deluxe (signed limited edition)
I agree with The late Stu, those flaws, however minor they may be, should not be there. I'd send trade/market books back to HC if I found those in them, let alone in a limited edition. Better quality control should be expected for the price.

Thank-you guys for the kind feedback. Adjustments in display sequence made accordingly!
LOL! And awww!
Emailed the special address for this edition and Harper Collins finally got back to me today saying they would ship it imminently.
German here - my copy was sent out on the 13th via DPD and already arrived in Germany on the 15th, with delivery on the 17th (no duty or tax applied so far). I got number 324 and I am pretty happy with the quality of my copy, the clamshell is actually very pretty (and bulky).

I am glad you enjoted it! What did you like most about it?
Update on my efforts to forward this to the US. Forward2me received my package yesterday and either today or tomorrow will ship it out through DHL 2 day international for £100. Will update on condition when it arrives but so far the process has been about what I expected.

That you for giving us an update on this lesser widely known method to get books that are not shipped to one's location. Sounds like the shipping will be safe and relatively fast. The extra cost seems substantial, but if the alternative is not to be able to get the book, I would have done this as well.

Shipping cost was certainly higher than I would like but initial shipment to the UK was free. Not sure what shipping was direct from Harper Collins to other countries but that helps soften the blow a bit.

For me, shipping to Sweden was £47.43, so double shipping is higher but if I was in the U.S and really wanted this item, I would pay £100 without much hesitation. Let us know when you get the package. :)
Yeah, I cancelled mine😂 gonna take ppls word's for it. Price tag is high, but it's worth it for me id I find the right one. I will hunt for better quality and durability, just need to figure out which version that is. I'm fairly certain it's not folio tho, as their books are fine bit not at all durable. Wish there was a guide for it tho.
