Very sad news that Bob Blackham died on the 9th February 2026.

I’m sad to hear this. I only met him a couple of times to actually talk to. Once at the last Middle-earth festival at Sarehole Mill where he persuaded me to buy an art book, and if I did he’d sign an autograph for me. And second at the Tolkien2019 event in Birmingham where we chatted in the foyer of the hotel.
