Wouldn't be a HarperCollins deluxe release if half the books weren't faulty. Haven't ordered these - no shelf space and I don't really want to go down the path of yet another deluxe range if it is going to expand out to a zillion books that all look identical. I'd probably get a Nasmith Sil if it was in this format, just to complete the "genuinely finished Middle-earth works", though.

It's a shame because the books themselves look great, aside from the poor quality control that is.

Yeah my Fall of Gondolin has the crease also. Very disappointing. Considering whether to ask for a replacement or not ... how much of a pain will that be I wonder
