Great additions and lovely signatures on the Aubusson! I have yet to get a copy of the Aubusson book yet. Hopefully by Christmas.
Excellent additions Bergelmir! Some hard to find items in there.
And here's the loot from the last quest in the dragon's lair of a mountain in the Northern Alps.
- LOTR 91
- LOTR 90 1st
- 2 replacement copies of The Hobbit (the first is fine, the second is not yet open)
- (Fire and Blood, again Folio Fociety but not Tolkien :p)
- HOME III, VI and VII, all 1st
In addition to the marvelous edition of 91, this is the end of my quest for the 12 HOME volumes, since all I needed were these 3 volumes (and in particular III, which was hard to find) to complete the 1st / 1st collection.
Finally, the pleasant surprise comes in the form of a promotional flyer and a pre-order voucher for the 90 FS edition.
I'm sure some of you will appreciate it :)

You are playing with fire by not opening and checking that second FS 2024 Hobbit, verifying it has no problems and communicating quickly with Folio if it does. I've heard of quite a few faulty replacements now (50:50 amongst the people I know personally getting them).
I like the Flyer -- I find these bits of ephemera more interesting than the books, these days.

Rest assured, I intend to open it very soon ;)
It's just a matter of days, but I want to do the unboxing on video to show this kind of rare and little-known edition to French readers :)

Congratulations my friend! Important acquisitions here, and congrats for completing the History of middle-earth in 1st/1st. Always a great milestone :)

Here is my latest parcel, containing some of my new finds from last year.
(Thanks to the treasure keeper, who will recognise himself if he reads this.)
The last few months have been incredible for me. I've been extremely lucky and had great instincts, which has allowed me to get my hands on some exceptional editions that I never thought I'd own, even just a short while ago.
Thanks to Emilien and The late Stu for their wise advice ;)
- Letters 81 1/1
- LOTR 2004
- Hobbit 2007
- Silm 98
- CoH 2007
- S&G 2009
All volumes are in mint or near-mint condition.
Fun fact: the issues of CoH (28) and S&G (29) follow each other.
