If you exclude the signature, the books themselves are vastly overpriced (basically sets for rebinding aren't THAT expensive, and rebinding is also not THAT expensive).
So comes down to the value of the cut signature, I suppose. Looks OK to me, depends on the detail of provenance. I would say that a tipped in cut signature is worth much less than an actual signed copy.
I'd just buy a rebinding set, have it rebound and then buy a signed letter. That way you would have a totally provable signature, an interesting letter and a set of books bound to your own specs for the same overall price (or less). Just my personal opinion.

Agreed, while the signature looks fine to me, I wouldn’t buy a cut out signature on principle for some of the reasons Stu points out here.
