The WM edition of the revised Letters is quite lightweight for a 700+ page book (so, low-weight paper). The binding is glued.
The HarperCollins edition is much the same as the WM but it has not stopped me using it without issue since publication. It remains in great shape.
It is an inexpensive hardcover and production is thusly kept low, but the jacket is lovely and the book is well constructed I think.

Would you happen to know if the bindings of The Companion and Guide (either the standard or the deluxe edition) are sewn? Given the size of those books, I would hope so, but...

Both the two and three volume box sets have a sown binding, these are 1st printings so I can’t speak to what the reprints have, guessing sown as well.
There is no “deluxe” edition of the C&G.
