Is there any info on the physical make up of this book? Would be nice to see an illustrated version of the space trilogy.

It is a bit early at the moment, usually a couple of months before release, more is revealed.
A paperback edition of Joel Merriner's Illustrating the Lord of the Rings in the Soviet Bloc: Iconographies of Difference is due for release in March next year.
No specific information on release timeline yet, but Graham Judd has provided more details about the forthcoming Second Edition of The Flora of Middle-Earth. He has said they are: "adding in some pages on plants published in the poems collection. Flushing out the biomes section with illustrations. Giving about 20 plants with out art full pages of art. And giving all the plants...from the larger collections quarter page illustration."

Any idea why this edition is so expensive?Trotter wrote:

This is fantastic news. The original edition is a lot of fun and as a keen gardener I appreciated their attention to detail. I will definitely getting the second edition.

Yes, agreed!
Also, just to clarify, because I realized I omitted this from my prior post and I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression, the quote I shared was not a private communication. It comes from Graham Judd's Instagram account (link here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DXnSaI4jDh0/). There, one can see the cover image he shared there, as well as his public comments about the book in response to someone's question.
MOD NOTE: Thank you for posting the link, Tuor.

iMusic list it as a deluxe slip-cased edition hence the price.Note that it not only the trilogy but also includes Lewis' unfinished Dark Tower which is a nice touch to have that short manuscript included.[1]1 Note that it not only the trilogy but also includes Lewis' unfinished Dark Tower which is a nice touch to have that short manuscript included. ↩
