Prob. library bindings - An interesting set, because of the typography and pictures on the front of TT and RK.

This one's even worse - there are pages missing, but the tape is still there!

I think this seller likes to be included in The Wonders of... thread

All the current items for sale would make it in with no issues.

Very sad and hugely overpriced listings

Were you just highlighting that one, garm, because the description is so poor? What's wrong with "Award Books. Book Condition: Good. . Bookseller Inventory # zh13599n" as a description for a £66 book? Not enough information for you or something?

I love this:

J.R.R. Tolkien - The Lord of the Rings + The Return of the King 1977
J.R.R. Tolkien - The Two Towers (being second part of Lord of the Rings) and The Return of the King (being third part of Lord of the Rings) in very good condition. Illustrations by Ingahild Grathmer drawn by Eric Fraser. The Folio Society 1977. Printed in Great Britain by W&J Mackay Limited, Chatham. Both books are part of of a three book collection, please note I am selling two books not three. Please see photos for minimal marks on outside of books. The books inside are unread and like new. Height of book 23cm approx. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Happy bidding!

Eh, yeh, I have a question: where's Fellowship?

Way overpriced--even $4,000 seems too much to me.

Without looking at the condition, it would be $1,700, max, assuming the condition is good.
