Anyone here willing to part with a copy of Remembrancer?

Anyone here willing to part with a copy of Remembrancer?

Mar 5, 2018

I'm looking to acquire a copy of George Allen & Unwin: A Remembrancer if it doesn't break my budget. Anyone here have a copy they would consider selling? Let me know.

This is the reply I received from Merlin back in 2006 (Previously posted in the forum some years ago).

"Thanks for your email. Alas, I am unable to help you with this request.
My father’s book was printed in small numbers (I think 300 from memory) and it is rather frustrating that we under-printed slightly. I have looked into the costs of a small reprint and sadly it looks untenable for us – so really your best bet is to get hold of it from a library or possibly via I know we sent a copy to the Library of Trinity College Dublin. Hope this is of help and sorry we can’t supply you with your own copy.
Merlin Unwin"

Khamul received this reply in 2009 (also previously posted)

"We published the book you are asking about. It was written by Merlin’s father. We only printed about 250 copies which would explain why you have had so much difficulty in getting hold of a copy. Merlin has it in mind to try to get it set up on a print on demand basis and when and if this happens we will be happy to let you know. In the meantime I’m afraid the only option is second-hand booksellers.
Best wishes and thank you for your interest.

However at this stage, an ebook or POD should be more tenable?

I missed out on the last sensible priced copy by forgetting about it...

Ah, that one is back again on Amazon. I have emailed the seller in the past asking to see the "personal note from the author inscribed to the former owner." They promised to get back to me with pictures, then took the listing down. This was about two months ago. Now it is back, same description, double the price.

I'm still curious about the signature, but have no faith in the seller and no interest at these prices.
