Hello everyone! I have been slowly educating myself over the past year or so and finally bit the bullet and purchased my first major (for me anyway :p) book to add to my small but ever growing collection!

Probably paid on the higher side (purchased from Tolkien Bookshelf), but gosh what a pretty book!

Now on the find the Silmarillion Salesman's Dummy. If anyone happens to run into a fair priced copy please let me know!

Cheers!

James

Very interesting, and a great looking edition! Which other Tolkien titles have they done like that? Not in reference to the A&U deluxe format, but rather the specially bound for Canada aspect?

That is a great question! Other then The Silmarillion i do not believe any other was "specially published" for Methuen in Canada. I do know Methuen has published other Tolkien titles for sure, but i would be interested to find out as well if they had any others specially bound for them. They'd be pretty indeed!
