You don’t often see online LOTR inspired art work from comics artist Frank Cirocco. Frank worked for a number of years at Marvel, but is maybe best known as one of the co-creators of “Alien Legion” in 1983 for Epic Comics.
Anyway, when I found his LOTR material, I thought they were very echoey of comic book art. So, here are a series of images from his portfolio, “The Land of Shadows”, published by Schanes & Schanes in 1978. (Color was added by Steve Oliff.)
