Additions to Éarendel’s collection

Was able to cross a few things off the list in recent times. I’ve been searching for the elusive 60th anniversary edition of Farmer Giles for more than a couple of years, so I’m especially happy to finally add that one to the collection. And a shout-out (and lots of thanks) to Urulókë for the Tolkien Journal!

Nice additions Éarendel, I've got two out of those three but don't have the Tolkien Journal with the mushroomed cover.

Lovely finds. I too recently got the 60th having lost my original somehow during a move. I love that Drout volume. Could we possibly see more of the binding on that one when you have some time?

Great additions! I've had my eye on getting a Drout Limited Edition for a while and haven't been able to convince myself to spend the money.

Thanks Mr. Underhill. It’s a nice, sturdy binding and is overall a well-made book, pleasant to handle!

Added some new volumes (and upgrades of existing copies) to my collection over the last 6 months.

- The Mallorn is no. 14, which reprints Christopher's 'The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien: A Brief Account of the Book and its Making';
- The book with blue boards is the first edition of Pearl;
- The book with dark green boards is the 1988 Unwin Hyman edition of Tree & Leaf (came without a dustjacket unfortunately, but the price was very good).
- Gawain is a 3rd impression
- Tree & Leaf is also a 3rd impression, in fine condition though.
- Unfinished Tales is a first edition.
- The Annotated Hobbit is the first UK impression of the revised and expanded edition. Waited a long time to buy this because of the rumours of a third edition, but went ahead anyway as it came up for a good price.
- Lays and WotJ are first editions.

The three Moleskine notebooks are especially nice!

Very nice, congrats. I have been looking at the Moleskin notebooks for a while and keep ditching a purchase, but they look rather lovely.

Congrats! The "Hobbits in Holland" was a very nice find. Still looking for this one myself.
