The Marion E. Wade Center and the Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College present “A Timbered Choir: The Witness of Creation”—an evening of music, poetry, and art inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s and Wendell Berry’s love of creation and visions of stewardship—on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 7:30 PM.

The evening features the world premiere of “A Timbered Choir,” composed by Joshua Rodriguez with words by Wendell Berry, performed by the Wheaton College Concert Choir under the direction of John William Trotter, and accompanied by reflections from Kristen Page, Tiffany Kriner, and Joel Sheesley.
