Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, Silmarillion, Folio Society LIMITED EDITION, RARE I know they're matching numbers, but £1000!?" Yes I agree, whoever bought it got a bargain, that is a very good price. Does anyone know what the set cost when it was first released?

Thought £1000 was a pretty good price for a matching number set.
Think original prices for LOTR was £330-£350 and Hobbit & Silmarillion around £130 each (but rough prices from memory).

He doesn't include a photo of the box because he mixes and matches them between sets depending on what the customer is looking for.... I kid you not.
