Writing to Kenneth Sisam, Tolkien informs him that Sigelwara Land will be published over three volumes of Medium Ævum.It will in the event, be published in two parts. See reference below.[1]

He thanks Sisam, likely for the information about Gallican psalters.See Letter from Kenneth Sisam to J.R.R. Tolkien • 30 August 1932 (#1753)[2] He says that he must check some spellings on the passage for Paris Psalter, a part of his essay.

He is working on the final parts of his paper, 'Chaucer as a Philologist: The Reeve’s Tale'.Published in Transactions of the Philological Society, 1934[3] At which point he will return to matters on the Clarendon Chaucer, he mentions that he is being helped by David Nichol Smith to finish the notes.

If he can find some time away from children and work, he would like to visit Sisam.
