L. Sprague de Camp, the famous author of science fiction and fantasy books writes to Malcolm Edwards. Edwards was an editor and publisher. Sprague had been asked to provide a piece on Tolkien for Edwards journal Vector but at that time he could not provide anything due to various factors including suffering a broken rib. He had previously written on Tolkien in LOCUS Magazine and gives permission for that piece to be reprinted if Edwards would like to do so.
