Humphrey Carpenter writes to Professor Boyer, thanking him for sending in photostats of letters from J.R.R. Tolkien for potential inclusion in the volume of Tolkien's letters that Humphrey is working on, along with Christopher Tolkien. Evidently the Tolkien letter is to W.H. Auden, and is of great interest, and H thinks it likely it will be included in the book. He asks if Boyer's research on Auden is available for him to read.
