In the good old days, you could use an anonymous proxy in the UK to get around their price-discrimination (you just needed to use the proxy when adding the first item to the cart, not when paying). Nowadays they don't allow any proxies.
Yep, rather than move to an honest and open pricing model, they banned proxies and continued with the 'Free Shipping' lie.
