Slow me (this service has been around since 2005) but I finally ran across a Tolkien related book on Amazon that is available for their "Amazon Upgrade" service. What this means is that when you purchase the physical book, if you pay a small additional fee you can have unlimited online access to the book, including making annotations and highlights, print pages, cut and paste, etc. Essentially, a very useful tool if you need to do searches for keywords or other research using one of the books as a source. Unfortunately, there are not that many interesting books in the program yet (the publisher has to agree to participate in the program, and most Tolkien related publishers are not signed up.)
