Does it a frontispiece, printed on photo style paper? Most slipcased editions usually do.

Not to sound like a broken record, though I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the new Alan Lee editions (in original post) as well the Unfinished Tales 40th anniversary edition (standard or slipcased)

I asked about the printing details but didn’t get a reply (I’ve bothered the kind lady enough!). I suppose we’ll find out soon enough.

Oh she’s so kind... she replied that the book is printed and bound in Italy by Rotolito.

Looks like a lot of firsts for this book.
