So, what is now going on with the old 50th 2004 edition? Is this not the revised 50th text? Has this gone in to 10 impressions since 2013, or did they continue on impression numbering from 2004? When was the spine "50th" bit dropped? etc etc

Impression numbering continues from 2004, I believe. I *think* it changed on the 9th -- There was a thread which mentioned it somewhere here or on /r/tolkienbooks. No idea if the text inside changed.

Ex-library stamps seem pretty minimal.

This is a good deal if you want to own this book and don't. Most other copies I could find are $80+.

Yeah, seems too expensive, given more of them seem to be coming out of the woodwork these days. I'd have thought half that would have been more closer to the mark, personally.
