I believe I've spotted another error, this one on the list of illustrations: the correct, exact syntax reads "Amon Rûdh" (the accent from the u is missing)

Well spotted. The name is spelled correctly in the text so just an error on the plate list. Not the end of the world for me.

I feel the exact same way, as the name of the Moria book in my copy of The Fellowship of the Ring is misspelled for the caption of the image, on the plate itself.

I would have liked for new LOTR/Hobbit boxset to have the three artists illustrated editions like UT has. I didn't know I wanted that until this new UT came out.

Looks like UT is already being sold for 47.73 GBP UK delivered on booksetc. More for US at 61.45 GBP delivered but still good considering.

That's a pretty good price. Must be quite close to their cost from the publisher.

Hi, does anyone know if the paper is this deluxe UT special edition is as glossy as in the deluxe LOTR 60th anniversary (with blue cloth spine) published in 2014? It just reminds me that LOTR deluxe edition with blue cloth spine and thick glossy paper inside. Can someone confirm?

HarperCollins did say that it will be printed on "heavy-weight acid free paper" in the official Tolkien facebook's post on July 23; if that helps. Though of course a direct comparision would be better.

I am hearing, through unofficial channels, that this event on Thursday will be recorded and available at some point afterwards. Fingers crossed!
