Urulókë do you have an editable version of your checklist?

I sent you a link in PM. Anyone else here that would like to edit as well, just let me know.

Brilliant thank you. I will update it and post back to you when I am finished.

I definitely feel like this edition makes the 2019 Deluxe completely redundant for anyone who isn't simply collecting the deluxe editions for the sake of completeness.

Can you name any deluxe edition this statement does not apply to? ?

Other than the fold-out stamps and what was already missing from the 'deluxe' (2019) I agree entirely. This new edition is superior for my liking. I include a couple of comparison pictures between the two. The new edition is lighter, the colours are not quite as vibrant but it makes no difference to the quality of the image. The larger size really does make a difference.

I'll wait for the filled table, but I think I'll have to buy this one as well...

Maybe Sir Gawain, with its previously unpublished content? Until next HP pubblication I suppose...

Actually, I don't think it really applies to any of the other deluxe editions. I think this is the only case where the deluxe edition is clearly inferior to the standard edition (simply by virtue of the material not being well suited to the deluxe format). The deluxe edition is a pretty book, but this new edition seems to be a better book.

Hi! Does anyone knows if there are any significant changes in this new edition comparing to the one dated 2012 (ISBN 978 0 00 746337 4)? I mean except larger size of the book.

If you look at this table https://www.tolkienguide.com/modules/w ... From%20Father%20Christmas

The edition you mention is in column G and the new edition will be in column I, but have not filled that in yet. You can compare H with I to see a lot of the differences, the new edition corrects some of the transcribed text and also fixes a few mistakes with the illustrations.

Wow! That is an impressive table! My deepest esteem to your work!
