Nice. I have always been on the lookout for the "Tolkien Phraseology" but never seen one before. Would love to get this sometime. Congrats.

They do go well together ?

Side note: I had no idea (and the seller did not mention) that my Thesaurus came from John Garth’s library. A nice surprise when I opened it! ?

It's lovely to see other people's acquisitions, it's lovelier to realise how much you want them too, and it's loveliest to acquire them yourself

So in that vein, a shout out and a thank you to northman and to Quicksilver for having shared and highlighted the 1980 3-volume Swedish paperbacks of LOTR with beautiful Inger Edelfeldt covers; and the gorgeous Millennium Edition boxed edition of LOTR.

I managed to find both of these in pretty good condition - the Millennium Edition was also from a charity shop which is a nice bonus.

congratulations with 2 lovely sets Matt. While i tend not to go for paperbacks there are some editions that are truly beautiful to me. That Edelfeldt set is one of them, the blue wizards UT and the french 'the sea' silmarillion (as Bergelmir knows well) are 2 other examples. Not to mention Mr.Underhills latest find.

congratulations also to Dagoth.
