FWIW, this is appears to be review copy of the normal hardback release, not an ARC as such (???). The Uncorrected Proof of this title is a softcover with light blue paper covers (I have one). Though perhaps I am mixing up ARC and Uncorrected Proof to some extent, given the UP is often used as an ARC (I think it was in the case of this title as there is a similar review slip in my copy). I suspect the value of this item will be the two bits of paper more than the book (I think HM M&Cs are pretty common).


Edit: The slip on my copy seems to be "Advance Uncorrected Proof". Not sure if these were just sent out earlier than the normal review copies, but I'm pretty sure they were only used for review/publicity and not for actual proofing.

This Monsters and Critics 'ARC' seems to be an ARC in the same sense as the Silmarillion ARC previously listed at betweenthecovers. The gems really keep coming from the George Bixby collection though I think they have now soon listed all the Tolkien items.

Looks like somebody snatched it up already!
