Trotter, just wanted to mention that the ISBN of the paperback edition (Tolkien Signature) of Farmer Giles has been seen, and it is 9780008705275.

Also, a product description:

“ A commemorative 75th anniversary edition of Tolkien’s classic book, including a revised introduction, a map, a copy of Tolkien’s unpublished short story which he expanded for publication, his notes for an aborted sequel, and the original first edition illustrations by Pauline Baynes.

Farmer Giles of Ham did not look like a hero. He was fat and red-bearded and enjoyed a slow, comfortable life.

Then one day a rather deaf and short-sighted giant blundered on to his land. More by luck than skill, Farmer Giles managed to scare him away. The people of the village cheered: Farmer Giles was a hero.

His reputation spread far and wide across the kingdom. So it was natural that when the dragon Chrysophylax visited the area it was Farmer Giles who was expected to do battle with it!”

I can understand if this comment will be removed, in favor of placing the appropriate information elsewhere on the site 🙂

Looks like I had the wrong ISBN for the paperback, thank you.

Apart from mentioning the 75th anniversary, is this edition pretty much the same as the pocket edition from 10yrs ago but in paperback?

Founded in 2010, Le Dragon de Brume is a French non-profit association of authors and contributors whose main aim is to offer essays on the wonderful world of Middle-earth imagined by J. R. R. Tolkien, and on the fantasy genre.

In this collection of translated articles, the authors delve into Middle-earth cartography, to explore Tolkien's maps and unveil their secrets.

What is the story behind the iconic map of the Shire? Where was Númenor located, and what clues can an ancient Anglo-Saxon map provide? What about sunken Beleriand, the Mansions of the Dwarves, or the Seas of Rhûn and Helcar? And if Middle-earth is a fictionalized Europe, what would it look like on a real-world map?

These are just some of the questions explored in this volume, which will appeal to Tolkien fans, cartographers, and anyone interested in the art of world-building.

Does this also apply to the new "Signature" paperback edition of The Adventures of Tom Bombadil?

The HC website says "A revised and expanded edition of Tolkien’s own Hobbit-inspired poetry, including previously unpublished poems and notes". I'm confused because the edition I own from the Tolkien Treasury box set also includes appendices. Will this new edition of "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil" have additional material that wasn't in those small Tolkien Treasury Boxset books or is it the same content in a new cover?

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find any conclusive information.

I think it is exactly the same text as the hardback, HC have reused the blurb for the hardback.
