I'm not convinced of any colour difference, based on the limitations of photography and screen colour reproduction. Mine is 3.95 and looks the same colour as the higher priced variant (albeit the text is much more orange on mine). I think without seeing the side-by-side and having multiple examples to rule out thermal fading, it is impossible to really say if they are different.

I’d tend to agree about being unsure, and did suggest that in my original comment.

I don't have both jackets to compare side by side, but these 4.50 make me inclined to think that all are the same colour, and the variations are due to the sellers phone specifications.
(Both just a touch lighter than the recent HOME the war of the ring DJ).

It could just be fading, I agree. Need to do more research.

If anyone is still looking for Swedish hardback editions of LOTR in the slipcase with Tolkien in the rather natty headwear, this one is in passable condition (the slipcase is very often quite damaged) though the spines seem quite faded. Very reasonable price all things considered.
