I am currently selling The Hobbit and the three LotR books (not in the weird case) on eBay if you want them. I have a starting bid of $40 for the 4 books. (Return is flawless and still in wrapper, other three have some minor issues from poor shipping.) They are medium sized and cheap, though nice looking. If you want a bargain, a nice looking set for reading, get these. Attached is a picture of the binding and top end of Fellowship. Long term, the 2010 set is likely much better quality.

As you are mentioning an eBay sale of your books, it should be in the Collector's Marketplace, which is why it was moved.

As you are mentioning an eBay sale of your books, it should be in the Collector's Marketplace, which is why it was moved.
Next time I won't mention eBay. I didn't link to the auction, as I was just trying to show a picture of the sewn binding and explain that I did own of the books and could talk to the (lack) of quality, outside of the sewn binding. I will keep this in mind in the future. Someone else has provided pictures so it is meaningless now.
