Guess I have to accept that it really does exist!

As deagol suggested, maybe there was a problem with the first print run and not all the 20,000 supposed print run made it to market.

The Facsimile signature that is in every copy is on top and Tolkien signed it by hand below.

I think with such a small number of books apparently extant, it isn't really possible to say.
