I Uncovered A Major Book Forger

If Tom is waiting for eBay to do something about it, he’s going to be waiting forever.

eBay won't do anything meaningful. I recently reported a forger that kept re-listing the same forgeries. I re-reported the listings literally dozens of times, and they would be pulled and then the seller would simply re-list them.

I had the same experience with Abe, except Abe just stopped taking the listings down.

I'd probably be pushing the UK police harder. They absolutely do have a remit to investigate crime where no specific victim has come forward, so long as investigating is in the public good. The truth is they likely can't be bothered to investigate, and it won't do anything useful for their statistics. Maybe a mainstream news outlet might be interested? Forgery always captures the public eye.
