TolkienBooks shows that the first 6 impressions of the 2nd edition were printed with the same DJ design. Is there really anyway to distinguish these by printing? I haven't seen anything, but maybe there are small details can help differentiate...?

Printings 1-4 use a darker gold color for the rings on the front cover
Printings 5-6 use a brighter yellow color for the rings on the front cover
