It's the limited edition of The Hobbit graphic novel illustrated by David Wenzel and signed by him and published in a clamshell by Eclipse Books in 1990 in a run of 600 copies. The clamshell is quite beautiful.

Interesting that with under eight hours to go, this one is still sitting at a bid of £52. Normally I see this Hobbit edition going for four figures. Maybe there will be a flurry here.
