Oh that looks like a beautiful publication. If this is an example of their standard, I'm even more excited about their new Tolkien book.

I have also been looking at the Bodleian site, to get an idea on pricing of the new book, and looking at prices for Marks of Genius, an earlier exhibition that included Tolkien, these are possible prices for the new book. The Bookseller confirms the price for the hardback at £40.

Small format paperback (Tolkien: Treasures) - £15
Paperback - £25
Hardback - £40
Collector's Edition - £200

This is the £200 Marks of Genius edition, https://www.bodleianshop.co.uk/exhibit ... of-genius-collectors.html

The collectors edition sounds interesting, what with the facsimiles and all. But if it's priced that high I will have to give it some serious thought before I decide to take the plunge.

For those considering purchasing this (and perhaps some other items), you can get a 10% discount by joining the Friends of the Library. This membership costs £32 per year (so almost pays for itself if you are buying a single copy of the collectors edition). It also gives a 15% discount on the Oxford University Press Shop (its not clear to me if this particular book counts for this extra 5% discount yet).
