Hilary's Aunt Florence writes from Victoria BC, Canada to wish them all well for the Christmas period. She talks on world events, and notes her regret that Italy is suffering as it is. She notes that she doubts the ordinary people feel any hate towards "us". As with previous Christmas letters she sends some provisions as best she can.
