Tolkien's Aunt Jane (Neave) writes to Tolkien demanding to know more about his new book, The Hobbit. Tolkien had written to her, and signed a copy of the book but had forgotten to post them and then mislaid it. Letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to Jane Neave • 22 September 1937 (unsent) (#112)[1] She notes that she might be able to obtain it through the Times Book Club.
