Ragnar Furuskog writes to Tolkien, remarking that he intends to work on the phonology of MS Bodley 34 but notes that this is only for his thesis. He would like Tolkien to organize for the Academic Copying Office to make a copy of the transcript performed by Tolkien, but says that he would prefer first, a copy of Tolkien’s transcript of MS CCCC 402. Hammond and Scull say that "Tolkien apparently never replies."
